How to Install PolicyKeeper on Your Phone

PolicyKeeper works on your phone's home screen — no app store download needed. It takes under a minute to set up and gives you instant access to your company's policy Q&A from anywhere.

Here's how to add it on iPhone and Android.

iPhone (Safari)

1. Open Safari on your iPhone (this won't work in Chrome or other browsers on iOS)
2. Go to policykeeper.ai and log in to your account
3. Tap the Share button at the bottom of the screen (the square with an arrow pointing up)
4. Scroll down and tap "Add to Home Screen"
5. Confirm the name and tap Add

The blue PolicyKeeper icon will appear on your home screen. Tap it to go straight to the chat interface — no browser address bar, no tabs. It looks and feels like a native app.

Android (Chrome)

1. Open Chrome on your Android phone
2. Go to policykeeper.ai and log in to your account
3. Look for the install banner at the bottom of the screen. If you see it, tap Install
4. If no banner appears, tap the three-dot menu in the top right corner and select "Install app" or "Add to Home screen"

The PolicyKeeper icon will appear in your app drawer and on your home screen. It opens in its own window, separate from Chrome.

What You Can Do

Once installed, PolicyKeeper opens straight to the chat interface. You can ask questions about your company's policies in natural language and get answers with citations to the specific policy section.

Example questions you can ask:

• "How many PTO days do I get per year?"
• "What's the process for expense reimbursement?"
• "What is the dress code for client meetings?"
• "What are the safety requirements for working at heights?"
• "How do I report a workplace concern?"

Answers come from your company's actual uploaded policy documents — not generic information from the internet.

Key Points

• No app store needed. PolicyKeeper is a Progressive Web App (PWA), so you install it directly from the website
• Internet connection required. PolicyKeeper needs an active connection to query your policies and return answers
• Forgot your password? Use the "Forgot Password" link on the login screen to reset it via email
• Works like a native app. Full-screen, its own icon, no browser chrome — the experience is the same as an app from the App Store or Google Play
